I feel name madras goes more with life & cult existing here. In the sense, ppl instanatly map madras with music, The Hindu, degree Kaapi, languange patronisers, agraharams.... and so on.
Nice photograph though I must say I get annoyed when people use the word Madras. I studyed in the north so few people used to call me a madrasi in school in that weird taunting tone. I prefer Chennai LOL
